One of the notable events in the optical market in the second half of 2011 was the signing of the license agreement between the company De Rigo Vision fashion house Lanvin and the release of the eponymous collection of frames and sunglasses. Lanvin Creative director Alber Elbaz created a collection of glasses together with De Rigo Vision, the world leader in optics. Results presented in the line of 18 pairs of sunglasses: 13 female, 4 male and a unisex model. In design there are recognizable parts of the Lanvin collection of jewelry in Art Deco style, and the metal frames and small rivets in the form of screws resemble modern industrialism. (more…)
