World-famous artist and stone-cutters Glyptics Andreas von Zadora-Gerlof, nicknamed “America’s Faberge” often surprised the world with their jewelry masterpieces. Zadora spent his childhood in hikes, fishing and hunting on the Queen Charlotte Islands – an isolated archipelago off the coast of British Columbia. At the age of twelve years after the hunt, his right hand was almost paralyzed.
